How bad can it get?

Here is something that happened a while back and I just thought it was worth sharing.

A certain lady came to see me with everything she had ever worked for on the line. As she opened up I came to know that she had worked hard as an office secretary all her life. Ever since her marriage she had let her husband take care of the bills and taxes.
